Helix pt. 5 The group stumbled forth into having 'walked from Kephalai to the dark marshlands of Bruca. Jace blinked, the pitter-patter of rain drumming against his hood. Something had gone wrong during the 'walk here. He turned and looked to make sure that the whole party was accounted for. A cloaked figure was flung from a hovering, five-pronged symbol that closed as soon as he was no longer in contact with it. Fantastic cosplays! I have yet to read The Purifying Fire, but I read a little about it. I actually decided to make a character named Gidion in Skyrim and gave him Dawnbreaker and quite a bit of fire magic both because he recently allied himself with Boros and because of his short amount of time spent with Chandra. Any time I have him summon a Flaming Atronoch I pretend that he's calling on Chandra to come help him out.

I might not have read The Purifying Flame (I really want to!) but I still know that Gideon was sent to apprehend Chandra, but he made a more just choice to let her go. Then he followed her to the plane she went to for som scroll again, that's where they fought together.

Yup! I hadn't originally thought that there was a thing between them, but after reading it and seeing that there was some kind of chemistry there, I was all like "Nooooo...why's Gideon have to be such a jerk?" at the end.

I don't think he was that much of a jerk. He just didn't quite understand until she was already leaving.

Did you know that they are coming out with a Return to Ravnica block novel? I bet Gideon is going to be in it.
